Laboratory for palynology have conducted palynological research since 1989.

Laboratory is certified for conducting aerobiologycal research and supported by EAN (European Aeroallergen Network) to monitor airborne allergens. Within its aerobiologycal research, Laboratory for paylnology conducts analysis of fungal airborne spores as well as detecting and quantification od House Dust Mites (HDM). Aeropalynological monitoring started 17. March 1999. and today Laboratory for palynology counts pollen at four stations in Serbia. Since 2002. Laboratory for palynology conducts melissopalynological research - quantitative and qualitative analysis of pollen suspended in honey!!!
